Our Grove 6″ or 8″ divan bases are platform top meaning they are a hard base and provide the mattress with a supportive feel. The standard bases can be ordered either as a 6″ or 8″ high base depending on your needs. You may change the height of your base to accommodate the height of your mattress as mattresses can come in various different depths and this could result in your divan set being too high to get onto if you purchase a deep mattress, so please check the depth of the mattress you are going to purchase before ordering your divan to make sure you get the correct height to suit you. Another reason you may order a 6″ or 8″ base is for a child as this would enable them to climb into bed easier then say a 14″ base as it’s not so high for them to climb.
Our Grove divan bases are available in a huge choice of colour and fabrics with matching headboards available. Our standard 6″ or 8″ bases are NOT available to order with storage drawers. Our Grove divan bases have Chrome Glide feet which really help enhance the style of the divan, although castors are available but don’t come standard with the bases so please state at the time of ordering if you would prefer castors. These divan bases can also be purchased in a made to order size if you require the length and width changed.
Please note: The divan is 6″ or 8″ high not including the castor, please allow another 2″ in overall height for the castors. The Grove Chrome leg base can be upholstered in a choice of colour and fabrics with matching headboards to choose from should you wish to purchase a headboard with your new Chrome leg base.
