Our Sanctum Pocket Sprung bases have a sprung top which provides the mattress with a luxurious feel and has a firm edge for a supportive sprung edge base. The height of the Sanctum Sprung Edge divan base can be changed to accommodate the height of the mattress, but you cannot change the length and width of the sprung divan base. The Sanctum Sprung bases are available in a wide choice of colours and fabrics with matching headboards available too. The bases are finished off on Shepherd Castors which finishes off the divan beautifully, The Sprung bases height of divan in this range can be changed to either 10″ or 12″ or 14″
You may want to consider purchasing a sprung base if you already have an existing mattress which you are finding to hard and wish to make if feel more comfortable for a good night’s sleep.
Solid Plywood Drawers can be purchased: 2 drawers at the foot end of the bed (either side) 4 drawers, and 2+2 continental drawers which is 2 normal sized drawers at the foot end of the bed with 2 smaller sized drawers at the top end of the bed- this type of combination is a good idea to consider if you have bedside chests as you can still access them easily with this option. Please consider if you are purchasing a lower set divan height, either the 10″ or 12″ base, this will result in the drawers being less in depth then a 14″ base
Please note: The divan is 12″ or 10″ or 14″ high not including the castor, please allow another 2″ in overall height for the castors.
